For example, this web site has Elizabeth dead before she married Hezekiah Braffett abt 1826. Also, the census records point to Ireland as the place of birth for Hezekiah’s wife (not NY). There probably are two separate Elizabeth Newberry/Newbury people. The Elizabeth Newberry who married Hezekiah Braffett might be a granddaughter of John Newberry and Jemima Benedict.

It is fairly obvious by looking at the date of birth, that this Elizabeth can't be correct. If Jemima Benedict Newberry is born in 1749, which is correct, then none of her middle children could not have been born as late as 1804. Jemima would have been 55 years of age by then. Jemima had 13 children. Her first child was born in 1771 and the last was born in 1794. My James was born in 1791, and Elizabeth was born six years earlier. Jemima outlived her husband John and went to Herrick, PA sometime after 1830, with her daughter and her husband Daniel Durrand. She lived to the ripe old age of 94 and died in Herrick, PA."
