!REFERENCE: Jun-2005 emails from Bill Gilmore to Don Braffitt, "I am researching the Gilmore surname in County Antrim. My search list includes a William Gilmore, son of Charles and Lucy Gilmore. William had a sister Hannah, and a sister Martha. They emigrated to the United States in about 1850. William stayed in Ireland. Is it possible your William Gilmore is linked to Charles and Lucy Gilmore? ... The dates for your great grandfather William to be the son of the William from Charles and Lucy Gilmore area about right. They had children from about 1813 to 1834. William was born about 1813, he may have had a son William who would have been born after about 1825. That is some extrapolation considering I have no information on what happened to William. I do have a sheet from the General Valuation of Rateable Property for the area around where I believe my family lived, and it lists a William Gilmore Senior and a William Gilmore Junior. I was just hoping you had the set of information that could confirm and link the William Gilmore in your search to one of the William Gilmores in mine."
