!REFERENCE: 1959 obituary transcription from Judy Wood, "Frank E Earl, 75 of Walden, died on Saturday evening Aug. 8, 1959 in Middletown after a long illness. Son of the late Elmer and Elizabeth Davidson Earl, he was born in Farmingdale on Mar. 8, 1884. He had lived in Walden for 3 years and was a member of the Walden Methodist Church and Men's Club. Surviving are one son, Fred E Earl of Wallkill; 3 daughters, Mrs. LeRoy E Markle of Walden, Mrs. George W Popp of Walden and Mrs. Lester W Nichols of Newburgh; one sister, Mrs. Henry Mertz of Farmingdale and one brother, Fred P Earl of Farmingdale; 8 grandchildren and 3 nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at the Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank Street, Walden. The Rev. C Everitt Wagner will officiate. Interment will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery."
