I have reason to believe that Elizabeth Allison may have come from Virginia. But I haven't independently confirmed that. Bond, recorded at the request of Elizabeth Allison. We, James Allison, Thomas Sansbury, Elizabeth Sansbury, wife of the afd Thomas Sansbury, Jonathan Allison, Mary Allison, Priscilla Allison, and Samuel Allison, all of M, are bound to Elizabeth Allison, widow of Thomas Allison, late of M, decd, in the just sum of 20,000 £to be paid to sd Elizabeth Allison, to the which payment we bind ourselves, this Mar 12, 1781. Whereas sd James Allison, Thomas Sansbury, Elizabeth Sansbury, wife of the sd Thomas Sansbury, Jonathan Allison, Mary Allison, Priscilla Allison, and Samuel Allison, agree with sd Elizabeth Allison to relinquish and forever quit their claims to all the goods, chattels, and credits of the personal estate of the afd Thomas Allison, decd, to the afd Elizabeth Allison, to be to the afd Elizabeth Allison's only proper use and behoof, on consideration that the sd Elizabeth Allison shall keep indemnified the afd James Allison, Thomas Sansbury, Elizabeth Sansbury, Jonathan Allison, Mary Allison, Priscilla Allison, and Samuel Allison, from all costs, bargains, and contracts relative to the afd Thomas Allison decd's estate.
