!REFERENCE: 06-Apr-2004 emails from Tim Henry to Don Braffitt, "You have listed my GGG grandfather Starling Willis Blackwell. Am descended through his son William Glen Blackwell, thence Starling Thomas Blackwell. Starling Thomas Blackwell is my G grandfather. Starling Dean Blackwell is my G uncle....my grandmother's little brother. I have a pict of my grandmother and her tombstone if interested. Went by Leonard Cemetery. Aunt Freia (Mother's sister) says they never got Starling Thomas a proper stone. He is supposed to be buried near his father...William Glenn. The marker (I have a pict) just says W G Blackwell. His wife was Adeline Kimsey. Her stone (I have a pict) says Adeline Kimsey wife of Rev. W G Blackwell. Her stone is in Cochran Cemetery in Englewood, TN. His stone is in Fannin, TX. Near GG Grandma Blackwell are the markers of two of her daughters. They had three girls and three boys. Ida and Ada are buried in Cochran Cemetery. Era and Starling Thomas are buried in Leonard Cemetery, Leonard, TX. Era married a Glasscoe. She is listed on rootsweb. Aunt Freia remembers her. Aunt Freia visited Aunts Ada and Ida in about 1948. I met the granddaughter of Ada Blackwell Barnett in Chattanooga two weeks ago. Buried next to GG Grandma Blackwell is my grandmother's big sister....Faustine Blackwell. I took picts of all of these. Can send one at a time if you wish. You can see and delete as you wish. My next Blackwell family reunion is around July 4. Will get picts of Starling Deans's marker near Kilgore, TX if you wish. Lots of family down there can show me the cemetery and the marker. Sure would like to get a copy of that book. Seems GG grandparents moved to Texas, then after GG Grandpa died, GG Grandma moved back to TN to be with her other children she hadn't seen in years. Buried with those children while her spouse is buried with other children. It was a sobering trip. Took picts of every marker I could find. and I found plenty. Tim Henry"
