https://sites.rootsweb.com/~canns/lunenburg/cemeteries.html!REFERENCE: 08-May-2014 email from Bob Hegerich to Don Braffitt, "First, Johann Nicholas 1801's parents were Johann George Peter (aka Henry) MOSHER 1764 and his first wife, Maria Catherina WHYNACHT 1764. In turn, George Peter's parents were Jacob 1730 and Anna Maria Magdalena (FORSTER) MOSHER, and Jacob 1730's parents were Peter MOSHER 1713 and Wife Magdalena FISSEL 1714. While it's true that the Johann Jacob MOSHER 1740 who m. Regina Magdalena HARNISCH was the son of Jacob MOSHER 1711, they are of a completely different family than John Nicholas. Everyone who has studied NS genealogy thinks that Jacob 1711 [who was not called Hans in any document that I have ever found] and Peter 1713 were related, but nobody has ever been able to prove it. And last but certainly least, Jacob 1711's wife was almost certainly not named ZUIFLOWER as these were Swiss immigrants and ZUIFLOWER is not a known German (or French, or Italian, which exhausts the 'native' languages of Switzerland) name. She may have been a SEYFFLER; but again, nobody really knows. :-)"
