Our data shows that John Long, Jr. married Mary "Sarah" Taft, dgtr. of Matthew Taft. She was born 4/22/1726 and died August 21, 1801 in Shelburne, MA. She came from Ireland with her parents on the same ship as John Long, Jr. (Unknown to them before). We also have a copy of a letter written by David Long, another son of Mary's, who refers to her as my mother, Mary Taft."
