James was married to (1) Elizabeth Birch, who died in Meigs Co. 1871 d/o Thomas and Sarah J. He was married 2nd to Mary L. Biram d/o Andrew and Charlotte Biram. I know Mary had a brother William because he lived with James in 1880. James came to Meigs Co. in 1868-9 and was there until 1878-9 when he returned to Wirt Co. WV. He was born in Jackson Co. VA to either Simon or Samuel Pierson and Sarah A. White. Any information greatly appreciated and I'll be glad to share what I have found. Merry Pierson."
