!REFERENCE: 04-Mar-2003 email from great-granddaughter Peggy Walz to Don Braffitt, "Mary Elizabeth Abercrombie was born Mar. 18, 1862 in Hall Co. Georgia and died about 1945 in Cobb Co. Georgia. Young Bartow was born Oct. 1, 1861. He died, I think before 1940 (because I do not remember him). Mary Elizabeth, whom I called Nanny Abby, I remember vividly. She was quite little and spunky and loved my everyone who knew her. My best memory was of her big feather bed and when she got into it, she all but disappeared. They had seven children: John, Joseph, Dee, Bill, Nora, Mary Frances, and Talmadge. Mary Frances was my grandmother. Hope this helps. Peggy"
