1, Isaac Peasley, father John Paisley (1757-1836), "Isaac's family sometimes spelled the family name Paisley. Isaac and Rachel moved on to Illinois in 1834 and took Rachel's relation the widower, Moses Halsey, one of Moses' sons, and one of his daughters with them. Isaac became a oxen teamster and hauled the General Lenoir's crops (including cotton to the coast and farm supplies up the mountains to Lenoir's plantations in present day Allegheny County where they married local women and settled for a while).",
