!BIRTH-DEATH: 02-Aug-2007 email from Dave Teller to Don Braffitt, George E. Haga, "Hello Don. My name is Don Taylor and I 'm researching the connections of family history to the Hagas. My 2nd great grandfather was Elijah Boon born about 1869 in Alleghany County, NC. I have his marriage license from December 25, 1887 to Margaret Ettie Haga, daughter of George E. Haga (1835-1888) and Margaret Evaline (no last name given on marriage license). Apparently Elijah & Margaret died very young and only had one child who was my great grandfather, Frank Allen Boone. Elijah & Margaret are buried in unmarked graves near the Piney Creek community in Alleghany County, about 5 miles from Grayson County, VA. I've been able to trace George Haga's parents as Henry Haga & Elizabeth Cooper. Unfortunately I've found nothing about George's wife Margaret Evaline. I suspect that she was also a Haga, born around 1840 in Grayson County. Do you know of any Margaret or Evaline Haga's in the area that would match this description? Any assistance you could provide with this matter would be greatly appreciated."
