!NOTE: William H. Cook (James William Cook) died probably before the 04-Jun-1900 census. His wife Alice Rector Cook is listed as a widow in that 1900 census. The modern gravestone has 1901 for his death date, and the name James William "Bill" Cook. In the 1900 census, his mother Emily is listed with 10 children 8 living, and I still have not identified the other child besides William H. Cook who died before that 1900 census. Note that there is a grandson of James Madison Cook and Emily Crumley (named William Cook) living in their household for the 1900 census. Alice was probably pregnant with their last child Gustie B. Cook for the 1900 census since Gustie is not listed in that 1900 census but is listed in subsequent census enumerations.
