McCollum is almost for sure the same person as Johnnie Davis in the 1940 census listed as single and a sister-in-law to Joseph. Note that Joseph’s sister Clara E. Buckner is also listed as a sister-in-law to Joseph in that census record. The funeral notice correctly lists Johnnie as "she".
