!REFERENCE: 2015 obituary by daughter Cynthia Denise Lloyd, "Bill Ladd Smith was born in Augusta, Maine. His father, a mechanical engineer, moved often until around the 1950's or 1960's. They settled in Tucker, Georgia (in Atlanta) and Bill was an excellent student and baseball athlete. He went to college at Oglethorpe University and married Angela Katherine Snider. They moved to Waycross where their only child together, Cynthia Denise Smith was born. After their divorce Bill eventually moved back to Atlanta, where he met the love of his life, Judy Diane Pollard. They had a daughter, Lillian Nicole Smith and they moved to Salt Lake City Utah, then to Nashville, then to Chattanooga, where they eventually divorced, but remained close friends. He is survived by his ex-wives, Angela and Judy, his daughters, Cynthia Denise Holden Lloyd and Nicole Rush; his four grandchildren (in order of birth), Heather Katherine Eastin (nee Holden), Danny R. Holden, Jr. (often referred to as simply DJ), Alex and Ashton Rush. He is further survived by his sister Bonnie Stuart, his brother James Smith and his youngest sister, Lila Ware; and finally his son-in-law, Clay Lloyd. He is beloved by family and friends. He was a nature lover and preferred being outdoors, he was an artist, a fisherman, a baseball fan and loved gardening. He will always be remembered for his intelligence and wit. He died peacefully, but suddenly, at his daughter's home, in Douglasville, Georgia. !REFERENCE: 2017 obituary, "Angela WHEELER (1943 - 2017). WHEELER, Angela Angela Wheeler, daughter of the late Rubye Bass Snider and Jimmie Lowe Snider, died July 26, 2017 in Theodore, Alabama at the home of her daughter, surrounded by family. She was born on January 16, 1943 in Atlanta, Georgia. Angela graduated from Druid Hills High School and worked in various clerical positions in Atlanta, Houston, and Midland, Texas. In her last position before retiring she served as a bus driver for DeKalb County School System. She was an active member of Briarcliff United Methodist Church, and served and participated in virtually all of the church's activities. Angela was beloved by friends, family and all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Denise Lloyd; grandchildren, Heather Holden Eastin and D. J. Holden; her brother, Jimmie Snider; her sister, and brother-in-law, Synthia Snider Foskey & Charles, and nephews, Mark, David, and Tim Foskey and Collin Snider. A Celebration of Angela's life will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Briarcliff United Methodist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Briarcliff United Methodist Church, Pastor's Discretionary Fund, 4105 Briarcliff Rd. NE, Atlanta, GA 30345."
