Grayson County is the home of my ancestors. My g.grandfather moved to Alleghany County, NC and that is where most of my family lived. We live in Mercersburg, PA and often travel through Va. on our way to my home in Piney Creek, NC. I have a brother and sister living near the old home place, where my g.g.grandfather lived."

He lived in the Prathers Creek, Alleghany County community. There was another John buried in the Leonard Cemetery. I don't recall who his father was."
