Burial will follow in Bethel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Jacob passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023. He was a follower of Jesus Christ. He was attending ABAC College in Tifton, GA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and raising cattle on his farm. He loved people, music, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard Pounds; maternal grandfather, Jimmy Bone; and maternal great-grandparents, Gene and Daisy Bone. Survivors include his parents, Russell and Michelle Bone Pounds of Butler; two brothers, Rus Pounds (Tiffani) of Macon and Levi Pounds of Butler; the love of his life, Meagan Cannady of Garden Valley; one nephew, Wade Pounds of Macon; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Linda Kare of Butler; paternal grandmother, Rachel Pounds; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm at the First Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Epilepsy Foundation/Plant a Tree.
