!REFERENCE: 27-Sep-1979 The News Gazette, page B13, "Lela Paeth. Lela Belle Paeth, 55, of rural Sadorus died Wednesday morning (Sep. 26, 1979) at her home. Funeral and burial arrangements are incomplete at the Teeter Funeral Home in Hawley, Penn. Visitation will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Owens Funeral Home in Champaign. Mrs. Paeth was born Aug. 18, 1924, at Beach Haven, Penn., a daughter of George and Minnie Weaver Crone. She married Walter Paeth Dec. 28, 1971, at Rolano. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, James Crone of Newburg, N.Y. and Lloyd Braffet of Okinawa; three stepsons, Richard Paeth of Maryland, Eugene of Pesotum and Wayne of Springfield, Mo.; six grandchildren; four brothers, Clark Crone of Nicholson, Penn., Ralph of Rantoul, Arthur of Breesport, N. Y., and Stanley of Tunkhannock, Penn.; and three sisters, Sarah Howell and Ada Harvey, both of Tunkhannock, Penn., and Hanneta Smith of Meshoppen, Penn. She was employed at the Champaign K Mart Discount Store and was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sadorus."
