!NOTE: This Braffett ancestor is speculation based partially on last name spellings, partially on location and timeframe, and partially on numerous autosomal DNA connections between descendants of James Braffett, John Braffet, and James William Braffett. It is possible that these 3 people may not be siblings, but it is very likely they are close relatives (possibly a combination of siblings and 1st or 2nd cousins) because of the closeness of the autosomal DNA connections between descendants of all 3 of these people.
