!NOTE: There is some dispute as to Charles Cleaborn Cook's birth year. Mary Elizabeth Cook had 1895, Mary Gib New had 1896, T. A. White document has 1896541. Mary Gib New said 1895 might exist in some places because she thought Charles Cleaborn Cook said he was older than he really was to join the Navy.
!NOTE: Cleaborn had dark brown eyes. Carol Beiter Radford said that Robert "Bo" Beiter Jr. was the first grandchild of Cleaborn Cook and Daisy Mae Blackwell Cook to have brown eyes. Jimmy Cook confirmed that Jennifer Cook has one blue eye and one brown eye.
!NOTE: Mary Gib New said the spelling of Charles Cleaborn Cook's middle name is "Cleborn".

!CENSUS: 26-Apr-1910 Crossville, Milton, GA472, 1175/45B, SD 43, ED 120, page 15B, 146/147, Cleburn, Note that this census record lends weight to the theory that Cleburn was born 1896 instead of 1895 because all other ages in the census for the family are correct for the birthdates.

The bible included dates for both of Mother Cook's marriages and place for Cleaborn marriage, death dates for both husbands and Betty, and birth places and dates for all children. There is another item in the possession of Don Braffitt with the birth dates of the children (starting with Charles) of Daisy and Cleaborn.
